..I got a BEAST of a macro lens for my 21st..and fell instantly in love!

..the sun was out!

The fog rolled in..

..so I dragged my boyo out to take some shots in this mystical light! Just a few experiments really..

NO photoshop allowed here!

Had a moment of inspiration and wanted to give this a go..!
I wanted to get a little more familiar with my flashgun and was working with the theme of manual editing within my uni work-making a point that interesting photos can be taken by altering the way a camera is used as opposed to relying on post processing to create certain effects..you can read more about it in the other blog if you wish!

Its something I intend to play with again soon as I feel there could be alot of fun to be had with this technique..

A spontanious shoot early one morning with the boys..really enjoyed this one as the conditions were so different!

I Miss This

I used to spend hours on end trailing around after these guys when we were young taking tons of photes of them BMXing with a point and shoot..wish they were still doing this everynight now I have an SLR and know how to use it! Such an interesting, fun subject to shoot, often a bit dangerous too! Heres just a handful from one eve on the seafront messing about with trails bikes..nothing spectacular on those sadly..








[A while back I had a mishap and destroyed my HD..devestation! I was lucky enough to get some of my data recovered but alot of my photography got scrambled..unfortunately I lost alot of my favourite shots from this shoot, but hope you enjoy what is left!] -its safe to say I have now learnt my lesson and backup regularly!
